@kaia Correct. Things are going this way in Poland too, and this is OK. When I have to got to a city I take a train and use public transport. Unfortunately living in a forest without a car would be impossible for me.
@kaia Right. But there are a few nice thing about old cars. I bought one recently for 1K EUR., another 1K went into repairs. Now I have a car that was not recycled but repaired and reused. It's over 20 years old, so it's much sturdier than what you can buy now. And the best thing about it – no computers included (except for that tiny one used for fuel injection, but they work forever)
@jill_the_pill@jackyan@pseudonym That's a good car. None of my cars are that young :) But one does have a hole in the floor – on purpose, to drain water. Rural life is tough but fun.
