Eleven Years Of Knowing

. . . that plastics are not a good packaging material for foods. And we're still doing it. That's all, actually. I can't currently spend much time online so articles will be terse for a while, my apologies, see other posts for why. There are and always have been ways of processing and distributing food hygienically and we've just been conned by supermarkets to accept plastics as "more convenient" but the omitted to tell us the convenience was all theirs as they didn't have to train staff better or pay them more for their food handling hygiene expertise.

Trump Ghosted By Wife, Daughter

After a being jeered, booed, and heckled at a rally last week, it looks like he's being abandoned by Melania and Ivanka at his trial now. He's been charged for a range of crimes, is (poorly) defending a whole raft of other charges any of which will end in jail time, takes (and is no doubt dependent on) a range of illegal and brain-destroying drugs and is even therefore more mentally challenged than his Dem counterpart.

@clacke Wife and I watched that movie last month, for the first time for both of us, and enjoyed it. And we're in our 60s... And I guess I'd have to have lived in the States for a while before that became obvious to me. I can just about tell "you guys" from "y'alllllllll" but that's my limit.
