I have a trans (nb) friend who lost their role just as they started transitioning, it seems this may have been politically motivated and if anyone has roles ( either in San Francisco or remote ) for DevOps or Engineering I could forward to them that’d be appreciated

I am a capital N “Nerd” and somehow, people at work continue to assume I know anything about sports. I got asked about a baseball game? How come no one ever asks me about Dave the Diver or FFXIV

@mattly truly, like they’ll see something wrong with Apple’s data collection policies but will opt in to Google or Amazon’s instead which are far more egregious?

Or Microsoft / googles complacency in working with ICE or other military agencies?

Was tempted to reply to an anti-apple guy I saw boosted and I managed to stop myself from engaging.

Like they certainly aren’t perfect but there’s plenty of great cases for buying into the ecosystem and I don’t have to convince them of that 🤷🏻♂️
