In terms of art and graphics, are Mac Books worth the extra spondoolies for someone looking to go into that sort of industry or can you do pretty much the same on a decent gaming laptop if you own one of them already?
They always seem eye wateringly expensive

@GalacticTurtle One of the things I continue to be dumbfounded by is men who see the idea of comment as some sort of game show where women have to battle their shite to win a non existent grand prize.
And that the woman has somehow failed or let them down when she finally says no more.

My sister recently gave her alcoholic husband notice that she's had enough and will be getting her finances in order to leave. I can 100% guarantee that he will act like it's the first time he's heard this information when she does. Everyone else will be asking what took you so long.

And another one, this time aimed at Kelly Jay with lots of woman hating language.

People are speculating on Mumsnet whether or not he should be scrutinised given his treatment at the hands of his mother. What do people here think?

Personally, I think because he put it out there it's fair game, though any discussion should be framed through a lense that recognises that this is a person whose outlook is likely skewed by lack of emotional maturity.

Pretty sure they made that illegal. It's not just that the state doesn't want to help parents raise their kids, they don't want any family involved. Much better that we get disengaged teenagers to do the job and few years time they can probably be replaced by a big screen.
