@inthehands @dragonsidedd @su_liam I always used to distinguish between the two modes of thought as dogmatic vs. introspective belief. That takes all the cultural baggage away and leaves you with a contrast between frameworks.

@inthehands Yes, the riding posture is upright, but when I was going pretty fast I could still lean into the handlebar. It feels solid, very stable. I went on a fourteen mile bike ride and it wasn’t easy, but it was very doable for someone who is not particularly in very great shape right now.

@inthehands It was between the Aventon Aventure 2 and this bike, based on frame size suitability and my biking needs. I wanted a bike I could use to go on little tours around the island and maybe to take the ferry to the San Juans, had a mid-drive motor with a longer lifespan, and Class 1 so theoretically could go on approved trails.

@inthehands I am really happy with my new bike! All day I was all smiles. Gazelle Ultimate C380+ Midstep. It was impressive how easy it is to ride, considering it was my first time getting around on an e-bike. The place where I found a learning curve was the shifter. I think I need to downshift before heading uphill; I couldn’t if I was already going up, and I wasn’t quite expecting that 😅

@inthehands Just had a really good experience using ChatGPT 4.0 to help me learn AWS services and setup an architecture to a particular spec. I didn't run into many non-sensical answers, but I did need to verify everything and check that the produced responses would actually satisfy the requirements. The main error was incorrect order of operations. Some commands depended on certain resources already being created. The ML-aided generation of IaC would be a very good use-case to focus on.

@gerrymcgovern If they weren’t such big monopolies, incentivized to make money from our profligate picture taking, big cloud would be training ML models to help me pare down my ridiculous photographic proliferation.

@mattblaze It's so crazy to me how badly this was designed. It pretty much fits nobody's conception of what a "direct message" or "private mention" could possibly mean. How is this feature supposed to be useful? Did nobody attempt to plot out how it might get used or thought about by users? #UXFail #DesignFailures
