Tonight, as Kamala Harris delivered her inspiring acceptance speech, I felt a renewed sense of purpose and hope for our nation. Her powerful words at the Democratic National Convention have cemented her vision for a United States defined by compassion, unity, and resilience.
Kamala and her Vice Presidential nominee, Tim Walz, have called on us to return to a time of unity, to help our neighbors, and to drop the rancor that has become so toxic in our body politic. This is the leadership that can transform our country.
Let’s stand together to support this historic ticket by donating today. Every contribution helps us move closer to a presidency that values civility and brings us together. 🇺🇸
Any #writers here? Are you fans of Scrivener, or Ulysses, or perhaps Obsidian Notes? Looking around for a writing system that will be future-proof. Also love the idea of using Markdown because that’s what my blogs all use now. #writing#writersofmastodon
@inthehands Just had a really good experience using ChatGPT 4.0 to help me learn AWS services and setup an architecture to a particular spec. I didn't run into many non-sensical answers, but I did need to verify everything and check that the produced responses would actually satisfy the requirements. The main error was incorrect order of operations. Some commands depended on certain resources already being created. The ML-aided generation of IaC would be a very good use-case to focus on.
@gerrymcgovern If they weren’t such big monopolies, incentivized to make money from our profligate picture taking, big cloud would be training ML models to help me pare down my ridiculous photographic proliferation.
@mattblaze It's so crazy to me how badly this was designed. It pretty much fits nobody's conception of what a "direct message" or "private mention" could possibly mean. How is this feature supposed to be useful? Did nobody attempt to plot out how it might get used or thought about by users? #UXFail#DesignFailures
@inthehands Around Halloween you would regret your costume choice as the wind picked up and leaves swirled, with only a thin fabric to protect you. Now, a hot draft blows and smoke hangs in the air, but not from the jack-o-lanterns.
