Después de que en este último mes hasta 4 familiares me hayan comentado que se han "quedado sin espacio en Google Photos", me he animado, me he pillado un buen SSD y...

Nos dispondremos a experimentar con #Nextcloud, y #MemoriesForNextcloud. #immich está también de suplente, pero la verdad es que poder "venderle" a mi familia una sustitución de Google completa con fotos, calendarios, archivos, tareas, una wiki...

estoy tratando de instalar #nextcloud (en hetzner) detras de un #nginx proxy manager #npm

en "local" me va (accediendo con el nombre de maquina que tengo en #tailscale (vease primer pantallazo)

este es el #docker compose que he usado:

luego, para meterlo en nginx estoy basandome en esta documentacion:

tambien he añadido los "allowed hosts" con: el nombre de la maquina (hostname), la ip publica de hetzner, y la ip de tailscale (vease segundo pantallazo) basandome en esta documentacion:

pero aun con esas modificaciones:
- no puedo acceder al servicio salvo que no sea con local hostname. no me va ni con ip de tailscale, ni ip publica:puerto de hetzner
- en nginx npm, por una parte no puedo solicitar certificado. de nuevo: he probado con local hostname, localhost, ip tailscale, ip publica
- certificado aparte, la redireccion en si tampoco va. he probado con todos los nombres / ips que dije antes. me salta directamente (tiempo de carga instantaneo) a no encontrado (vease tercer pantallazo)

resumiendo: como se instala nextcloud con s3 storage y nginx npm?

Testing large file uploads through Nautilus' GVFS, some #WebDAV servers (like #NextCloud) be like, "Bro, there's no way this will fit 😳"… but the web interfaces have no such problem.

@jwildeboer I do the same for my own #nextcloud. It also makes it easier to backup (and restore) the db.

Because you have backups, right? :)

WebDAV works well enough for remote file access, but it's too slow for me to foist on anyone else.

And I used Collabra to do some shared document editing, but it was a pain to set up (and still feels fragile). WebRTC has never worked, and anything on the #Nextcloud WebUI is awful.

But Nextcloud is the least awful thing I've found that does these things, so I'm sticking with it for now.

Can't disagree with that. I originally set up OwnCloud in 2013 to be a self-hosted alternative to Google Calendar, and #Nextcloud does a good job as a CalDAV server. And it's expanded to do file syncing as well, but its desktop sync app has lost data - I just want to stop sync on a folder, the app insists on deleting the local copy. I say that's a bug.

IT WORKED - finally I'M IN!!!!
Installing the prebuilt images with fastboot failed, but resorting to pmbootstrap worked - so now I have a #oneplus6T phone with #postmarketos and #plasmamobile 6 on it.
I did order a simcard for it, but I haven't gotten that yet, so testing calls and sms must wait a few days.

How ever lots of things works - I can browse the internet with angelfish, look at photos, connect to bluetooth devices, record sound, play music, use KDE Connect, set alarms and use timers, view PDFs, use the shell and more ...

i can't use #tokodon (it freezes when trying to log in), so this is posted from my laptop, and my #nextcloud account configured in the plasmamobile settings does not work - no contacts or calendar events that way, or browsing files for that matter. #Okular shows a meaningful error message regarding files: webdavs:// fails. Not sure why #akonadi fails.

It looks like if you use #Thunderbird to access your calendars from #Nextcloud you need to manually set the contacts birthdays calendar as "read-only", otherwise you can't dismiss notifications.

I thought about this for a while and I'm going for #XMPP because in a few years my kids will have phone and will like to talk...

Better avoid updating your #Nextcloud android client to version 3.30.1 until there is a fix of an issue that causes it downloading your *whole* file system. Probably in a loop syncing forever (...?)

Para o #TerSoftware de hoje sobre tocadores de áudio e vídeos, vou deixar meu tocador de áudio para iOS preferido, o play:Sub.

Com ele eu tenho meu streaming de áudio particular. Eu armazeno todas as minhas músicas na minha instância do #NextCloud e assim não preciso ter todos meus #MP3 como arquivos no celular. Reproduzo eles via streaming usando #Subsonic, que já está por padrão no NextCloud.

A organização é linda, app eficiente e pelo preço, vale cada centavo! Recomendo.
