Not even close; that's far closer to a description of a #libertarian, and you won't find anything even close to that under "socialism" in any dictionary.

Socialism is a political and/or economic theory that advocates for the abolition of private property.

As a #Republican it is not surprising you are enjoying seeing #Democrats fall apart before their convention. However, the #GOP is embracing authoritarianism which should frighten anyone who hold civil liberties dear (regardless of party affiliation).

I am #Libertarian & I am horrified what #Republicans are offering: an illiberal theocratic democracy like #Hungary 🇭🇺.
