  "The central idea that unites socialists is maximizing freedom for everyone regardless of who they are".
  Not even close; that's far closer to a description of a #libertarian, and you won't find anything even close to that under "socialism" in any dictionary.
  Socialism is a political and/or economic theory that advocates for the abolition of private property.

  You have a very, VERY one-dimensional view of libertarianism; it's oversimplified to the point of being just plain wrong. But even putting that aside, that's no reason to go around making inaccurate claims about socialism. It's dishonest to paint it as something it is not.

  Libertarianism's freedom is unlimited anf therefore only for the strong, and not for everyone. The way to ensuring maximum freedom for everyone is to restrict people from restricting other people's freedom.
  Socialism, and even Communism allows for personal property, but not for private ownership of real estate or businesses.
