Watching #aewallinlondon and what better way to demonstrate that #aew is superior to #wwe than to have #MJF once again show that anything #CodyRhodes has done, Max does it better.
I wondered how they'd respond to the fan backlash with #CodyRhodes 'stepping aside' for #TheRock; I thought they miscalculated badly. After this, I'm convinced it's a work; bringing back the world's most popular human as a heel stepping & crapping all over Rhodes and the #WWE was just plain smart.
Was the slap real or a work? The fact that's even a question means the storytelling is on point. This is the best #ProWrestling storytelling in YEARS.
Shame on #CodyRhodes for wrestling injured, and shame on #BryanDanielson too; the latter's ETA was fucking October. The right thing to do when a billionaire asks you to work injured is refuse, especially when you have the status to do so. #TonyKhan is in panic mode: #DennisRodman, #CJPerry, Danielson, and even suddenly pushing #SamoaJoe as a world title contender off the back of two high profile losses...to "the real world's champion." #WWE#AEW#BretWasRight#PunkWasRight
It's merely amusing hearing #CodyRhodes talk about "Gunther" without adding "McGillicutty" after his name. But when hearing him describe #TripleH as his mentor while suggesting regret for "causing trouble" (assuming he's referring to breaking thrones and such post-#WWE in #AEW), it's purely sickening. I examined this way of thinking from Cody here: https://leftfist.medium.com/cody-rhodes-revelation-not-revolution-44772b051b36
