It's merely amusing hearing #CodyRhodes talk about "Gunther" without adding "McGillicutty" after his name. But when hearing him describe #TripleH as his mentor while suggesting regret for "causing trouble" (assuming he's referring to breaking thrones and such post-#WWE in #AEW), it's purely sickening. I examined this way of thinking from Cody here: https://leftfist.medium.com/cody-rhodes-revelation-not-revolution-44772b051b36
@leftfist As much as I like Cody as a perdormer it's hard for me to separate that from his politics sometimes. He wants that belt so bad he sold his soul.
@leftfist "“independent contractors” without healthcare, pension plans, or other benefits those generally contracted to a big company full-time might well expect." so you know if this is the case in Japan too, or only in USA?
@leftfist I know Mexico has a union. If I recall correctly any promotion that is under the jurisdiction of Box y Lucha (such as CMLL & AAA) is required to only allow luchadors who are members of the union compete.
@leftfist I highly recommend "The World of Lucha Libre" by Heather Levi. It is a great book and where I first learned of lucha unions. Though it's not the primary topic of the work, so there are probably better sources; it has a great bibliography as well to help you find them. :-) https://bit.ly/3YkO6Cl
