He spoke French perfectly, he was also a muslim. He told me he was not an active muslim, the only thing he did was follow the Ramadan.
I had asked him if his wife wore a veil or something and he told me no, not all muslim women did, it depended on which type of muslim. She was a pharmacist and was studying to get her equivalency for the right to practice.
He told me the thing that terrified him and his wife the most was the more radical islamists being accepted here now (their daughter was kindergarten level). They fled Morocco because of the mounting turmoil, turbulence and violence over there because of the islamists.
