Politicians, who are in power, want to send people back to Syria, Afghanistan, or other places that they will almost certainly be killed for being themselves. Racist politicians, who are in power, are in the news telling journalists they are tired of white Ukrainians, and they are fleeing an invasion
As I've previously said, I don't think people from the US should be under any illusion that it will be easy to get asylum in the Europe
