Same thing happened with CNC. It’s revolutionary for sure, especially as some guns start to be built with more and more polymer.
Think the Luty from WW2 except no one has to run to the hardware store and everyone can just download a file, print, and then assemble in their living room.
This is just one avenue of force equalization though because ammunition has yet to become printable and easily manufactured for the average builder.
