@synapsid @Awoo @mikuphile @Elliptica @WashedOutGundamPilot While there were some minor things Trigger should have done and Trigger does have a lack of decent writing talent, DitF was a case where it wasn't Tirgger's story telling that caused problems. They were there mostly for animating episodes 1-15.

It was Nishigori Atsushi and Hayashi Naotaka mismanaging the story after that messed everything up and not knowing they had a golden egg-laying goose in their lap (Hiro and Zero Two) they should not have killed.
