I have a keyless starter. And the battery went dead in the fob. There is a physical key to get in and out of the car. And IRs worth noting the detector to confirm the key is in the car needs less battery than the lock/unlock button. So we were manually opening the door for a few weeks before finally getting a new battery. Replacement key was about $400 though. So we still only have one.
