I have thought about it. A good chunk of people in this sphere are aware. At the end of the day, it's gonna happen or it isn't. Older vehicles are less prone to that sort of manipulation. There's a sweet spot, right around when direct injection took off, wherein you can have modernish features and longevity without as much remote hijack capacity. If I was nervous, I'd drive an old jeep or other easy to assemble vehicle with little or no power steering.
