well if you're okay with buying meat from the grocery store then it means the animals are suffering more in their life than if you bought it from an independent farm or raised it yourself which means you're contributing to the cycle of "zoosadism" through branding, electric shocks, starvation or overfeeding, minimal exercise, et cetera

you don't buy this food from better places because it hurts your wallet, yet you don't support a cat dying (which will in turn feed decomposers and scavenging animals) after living a relatively nice life because it hurt a kid
