My job is basically research and writing. I've learned a lot over the years, but I don't know much tbh. I have to look at sources and formulate answers. I have to read quickly and dispense with garbage on the fly.
I've applied this same skill beyond my work though. With the internet, you can learn just about anything of you put in the work.
This is also why public school is largely irrelevant to certain classes of people who have access to and know how to employ such technology. They and their children can gather more data from the net than any teacher could provide, and in the same or even less time.
