We all know *what it does* and *how it works*, but people assume their functional explanation is the same as truly understanding it. Do the electrons physically move from negative to positive (or vice versa)? How could that be electricity if their max travel speed in that medium (e.g. copper wire) is only a few meters per second vs the achieved speed of electricity?
