- Mike Duncan's History of Rome (warning for ear rape by terrible recording quality). Good chronological respector, is only as captivating as his material tbh.
- Dan Carlin/Hardcore History's Death of the Republic. The standard for history podcasts. The best storyteller. He does 5 hour long episodes on Rome and acts like they're to long only to do a single 5 hour opener for other series to do them justice.
- Patrick Wyman's The Fall of Rome and bits into Tides of History. PhD certified historian, often has great interviews. He did his research on letters sent during Roman times. Often good critical insights with the methods historians use.
