- Embed this notice@Turdicus @Hoss Scallops are these bad boys. Basically the classic "sea shell." They are basically little chunks of meat that you can do a lot with, but the most common thing is to cook them in a similar way you would a steak in a pan. Sear em with a bit of oil or butter, add herbs for extra flavor and that's basically it. I think they behave a lot like shrimp when it comes to cooking and as such can be used in a lot of dishes as a replacement for shrimp or even along with shrimp.
