I would have almost entirely agreed here, but you just fucked up here;
> and more concerned with producing quality content.
Microblogging was never meant for producing quality content, it was always meant to be a shitposting hub, it's only that all the left wing extremist political "completely apolitical" zealots started coming in and introduce politics, and then people who didn't want to talk about politics but felt forced into doing so because free speech was threatened to be lost, who got called "right wing extremists" that things started getting more serious.
To them it doesn't even matter if someone is even more left leaning than Stallin, Hitler, Mao, and Bernie Sanders are/were, or very far right leaning, or somewhere in the center, or completely apolitical, because according to those types of people, anyone who's not entirely in line with the current political dogma is considered a "right wing extremist".
And that's how "racism", "antisemitism", "homophobia", "transphobia", "misosoupgenie", and all the rest of the ismphobia's get enabled.
Not because niggers, Middle Easterners, gays, trannies, men, or whatever else are inherently evil, it's because because those who use these labels as weapons to enable censorship are inherently evil.
If only these nonsensticle words wouldn't even be a thing to begin with, microblogging would still have been all about shitposting far away from politics, and the internet in general would have been a far more fun place to be on.
