By the early 1980s, some people were paying around
$800 for a VCR. This is a memory as Mom paid $800 bucks
back then ($2,400 now). I'm still amazed by this.
People wanted so badly to not see shit commercials
they simply made the investment. She would buy movies
from the 40/50/60/70's and be happy as a clam,
