@LostInCalifornia @Leyonhjelm @polarisera I guess also still don't expect you to believe me but I've been programming since I was a kid in the 1980s, I have programmed COBOL before, I know how dates work in computer programs. The SSA guy's explanation is a real thing that happens but it doesn't fit the data they released, I'm not bothering to explain it because it's not as objectively, provably wrong as the other claim, it relies more on my professional experience telling me it's an unlikely explanation for the data they presented.
