You’re correct but if there’s one thing I’ve learned it’s that anyone posting the bad COBOL excuses that aren’t even true is also against actually verifying or correcting bad data. There’s no excuse for that. I do hope they learn more about COBOL though. It may be the only opportunity for them to learn about it.
