You are. Until fairly recently the unvaxxed were still driving admissions to the hospitals in ontario despite making up <5% of the population. There is a direct relationship between people not having up to date vaccinations and negative outcomes when infected with covid that the canada covid hazard index tracks . Masks have been shown to help, although obviously if you're wearing a poorly fitted surgical mask it's not going to do much but we're now 5 years into to this pandemic and unless you are extremely vigilant with masks it is likely that you will be infected. The vaccine one of your last layers of defense against a virus that has been allowed continue to mutate vaccine escape variants.
