It just offers the options of nonfree packages if you so decide to go that way and it doesnt make it difficult. Making the free options and nonfree options on an equal playing field in terms of accessibility is what I desire most in my os. My older 32 bit pc runs parabola like a glove though by the way, the machine doesnt even have sse2.
