• "There is no trust fund" There are 9. It's an insurance reserve.
• "It's going broke" Congress "borrowed" from it to pay for the invasion of Irag and has never paid it back
• "Trump will fix it" Trump plans to cut funding resoources and will make it go BKK faster
• "Young people are paying for old people" Young people would be paying for even more if it didn't exist. Even if you didn't have a wife (it's always the woman) who takes in grandma to feed, clothe and care for, you pay for it in increasing health care costs as disease spreads from the increasing homeless population.
