It's a horrid trend. I hate it in cars especially. Much more difficult to use touch screen controls for AC, radio, etc. than physical knobs.

Would you believe me if I told you that the freaking windshield wipers of the Tesla Model 3 have to be operated through a touch screen? (Except for spraying, if I remember correctly.)

They expect you to keep it on automatic, but the sensor is horrible and keeps turning them on in completely dry weather. And operating their speed manually is only possible via touch screen.
