I agree there, papers such as the daily fail do this all the time, there was a article about a young female tennis player who has great talent, but she was described as 'hot' but given the accompanying photo not in the talent way more, as 'hot' in the sexual way and was posing for the photo accordingly, so immediatly became a sex object.
Shame we can't treat upcoming (or any) atheletes in a way that focuses on their talent and potential in their chosen sport.
I guess this is less of an issue in mens sport as that is better funded, which is an issue but one that would detract from the main point of the thread here.
