It used to be that Gablins would show up and they'd be freaked out and trying to attack whoever was running their instance (because they were used to Gab, which was exploiting them) and they'd be extremely paranoid and defensive and culture-war-y, and then when they figured out that no one on fedi was trying to exploit them or shut them up, they'd all calm down and just relax and have fun.
