- Embed this noticeI often wonder if the Soviet revolution that occurred over a century later could've been averted had Russian nobility surrendered to Napoleon. They were notoriously terrible even by monarch standards, if there had been a major power shakeup in the region maybe things wouldn't have gotten so dire that communism was able to gain a solid foothold. Napoleon was known for implementing reforms that ended the feudal system and granted freedom to serfs, a system which the Russian Empire would continue to cling to until it spawned Bolshevik demons that were instrumental in throwing the world into absolute chaos.
