@Suiseiseki @silverpill @thendrix @rms @jeffcliff very good point. There is the content of the thing and then there is the service over which one is accessing the content.
So maybe there ought be a dis-ambiguation between the two, "Accepted-software-license" and "accepted content license" and different. If however the goal is to simply enforce free/libre software usage, maybe we can bundle all applicable licenses into categories that are considered FOSS/Libre/Free Software:
Software License: Always Free 1.0or for less freedom preserving (ie. includes Apache and MIT(?))
Software license: Proprietizable and free software 1.0The "1.0" just means an EXACT category that won't change after an update, many probably wouldn't need it. This is useful for something like fedi for folk that don't want to federate with say Threads for not being AGPLv3, for example.
