@jzillw @darth meanwhile, every unity game for some reason seems to look 15 years old but have system reqs that come from the future. It's actually impressive how many games can chug on a 4090 with a 5950x

yes some games had performance issues in the 90's but a lot of that was down to hardware varying wildly without common api's. Releasing a game in the mid 90's that looked like it had been made in 1980 but still has performance issues would have gotten you laughed out of the industry tho
