Their entire ideology is based on not utilizing power when they have access to it, meaning the power vacuum they intentionally create will always be exclusively used by their Progressive allies, no matter how many elections conservatives win or what kind of majority they hold.


The upper echelons of conservatives are knowing traitors, but their rank and file voters/supporters are merely the dumbest people to ever engage in politics in all of human history. They don't even know what team they belong to, and they constantly fight for the supremacy of the very people they think they're opposing.
