maegulReally not sure mastodon deserves to own the idea of a "federated social media universe". There are commercial concerns with ATP for sure, but iteration and experimentation is very much called for on this general idea, and there are likely things to learn from bsky/ATP. Their focus on UX for one, enabling the mixing & hybridising of decentralised and centralised systems another, especially the scope for enabling new platforms & modularising.
