Jonathan Koomey@aral @katzenberger @BenjaminHCCarr The question the proof of work advocates need to answer is “if there’s a cryptocurrency that has value but uses 99+% less electricity to create it (Ethereum), why shouldn’t we just use that one?” I’ve asked this many times and have never gotten an answer I understand. Maybe I’m just not smart enough, but maybe there isn’t a good answer.
