@matty @Aether someone recently said boomers are either millionares or massively in debt with no inbetween, because either it was stupidly easy to make mildly good financial choices and end up on top, or be such a failure you couldn't make it.

This is why there are stories of boomers that have 3 ex-wives and still have a decent nest egg - they made tons of mistakes, but still had a little financial acumen, so didn't end up dirt poor.
