Regardless, the 'Sol' runes arranged in a circle (sonnenrad) didn't have any occultic association known until like the late 80s or early 90s from some LARPers. Most of the claims of *Mean Mr. Mustache* occultism are more about deflecting traditionalists (read: Christians) away from exploring the ideology, as I understand it.
