@VikingWays @judgedread At some point when the economy wasn't bad the minifridge was a "convenience" - the 'better' version of going to the soda machine down by the office, so it was just like 2x as much. I think it was probably mostly done because people on business trips could comp it.

But as things have gotten squeezed, it became predatory.
