@RainofTerra @CSLee @grimalkina For me there’s been a gradual but definite shift between a view of engineers as stoic ever-correct beings whose every fiber is derived from pure analysis, towards the systems- and resilience-oriented approaches of well-intentioned beings bound by local rationality who dynamically help each other keep things from tipping over the edge of chaos.

Funnily enough, it feels much better to live within the latter lens.
