Btw, like most things, this isn't a new thing. It's been going on for nearly 2,000 years. The whole adrenochrome BS, and sudden frenzy about child/human trafficking (which has never stopped) is among the latest repeats. It's basically an urban legend like used to circulate in chain letters over the early internet around the same time period as the Satanic Panic. People are gullible ignorant and afraid, which creates a breeding ground for violent superstitions and genocidal tilting at windmills.
