So a post arrives, it triggers the stuff the MRF is looking for (easy mode: use the subject line like @slashb), you accept the post and then create a new post in response (like a blockbot does). You can cram all kinds of metadata wherever; Pleroma puts the Pleroma-specific parts under a "pleroma" key, but you could put it anywhere. (But you should put it somewhere like that to avoid conflicts.)
