It depended on the state. In Ohio it was 12% alcohol and in Tennessee it was 6% back in like 2012. I remember the cans looking different. I think they just varied the alcohol content, but kept the caffeine constant. There was a sign in one store saying, "get them while they're still legal" ... I didn't get it .. it was like drinking a Duracell battery
