- Embed this noticeI don't see why adaptability and mobility of body mind and spirit, such that it allows us to thrive anywhere is the ultimate virtue. Basically, all you're saying is that survival is the highest good. Which is a materialistic view and not spiritual in the least, since spirit is eternal and does not have to concern itself with survival, but rather with what life is for. Surely the preeminant virtue is creating the thing that is what makes eternal life a worthwhile endeavor?
