@sb @aral OK, OK, now for a slightly different hypothetical: A much larger campaigning NGO - Palestine Solidarity Campaign (UK) with its 93.5K Followers on the Xitter, when might be a good time for it to go down that route?
Or alternatively should busy NGOs mainly ignore the cries of the evangelists and wait until they've the time resource to spare and just very slowly start to build their presence in the Fedi like they did in the very early days of Twitter?
Asking because everyone seems to be evangelising from the POV of individual users rather than larger orgs? It's such a huge ask that an org should make that jump and hope it can bring the majoroty of its crowd with it.
