@freemo @QasimRashid Well... five states don't have a minimum wage: Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina and Tennessee.
Two states, Georgia and Wyoming, have a minimum wage below $7.25 per hour.

The rest of your points still stand.
Minimal wage has nothing to do with the accomplishments of individuals.

The massive increase in wealth of anyone who gets into congress is a more interesting trend that needs investigation.
