@jeremiah @yedkf @chud @cowanon @The_Almighty_Kek @stewil102 Google docs is horrid. Libre has potential but it's very hard to beat excel. Excel is, at this point, functionally a mediocre database program, BIS software, notepad, and a place to shove "programs" that are too simple to be standalone applications, all while having like 20+ years of backwards compatibility. I'd call it Microsoft's best piece of software. The number of businesses that would totally break if excel stopped working is very high.
