I might want to have a battlewaifu, I might even get attached to it like my car, but it’d be a tool like a screwdriver. That doesn’t make it less valuable imo.
If you want to know where the real interesting discourse is, talk genetics. We know humans have souls, and the human body is imperfect. What could argument would be leveraged against curing blindness, or any disease with a genetic component (pretty much all of them). How far will we go with that?
