Most young guys don't date because women have systematically removed and destroyed every 'third place' (i.e. a casual hangout that doesn't cost money that people from all walks of life go to to socialize). Now, outside of friends-of a friend, the only way to consistently meet new women are bars/clubs/online dating, which obviously filters for a certain kind of women and reduces the characteristics of judgement to just looks/status.

It's hard to meet women my age outside of going to bars, single women aren't going to hiking clubs or hobby meetups, and if they do, they aren't staying single for long.
